I made it to the third service at SBCC and sat in the back. Pastor Gary continued his “Celebrate!” series with a message about celebrating that we have a home in Heaven. We know that despite the loss of homes on Earth, we can rejoice in the knowledge that we have a home with God in Heaven.
After the service, I met with Koinonia, my lifegroup, for our continuing study through the book of Luke. It was my turn to lead the study and our discussion focused on the Parable of the Ten Minas, which were covered in Luke 19, verses 11 to 27.
During our sharing time, I told them that my therapy included working on curbs. That’s when I found out that I need to work on my enunciation. Someone heard “curves”.
A word about my blog .....
I'm using this blog to keep notes on my life and experiences, plus to keep track of my own recovery from a stroke (December 2006).
For those of you who were not aware, my brother, John, died on February 10, 2010. His remains were cremated and interred at Green Hills Memorial Park.
COMMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED, WELCOMED AND APPRECIATED.
