A few days ago, my parents took the dog to the vet, as he was walking with a limp (the dog, not the vet). The vet said that it was a bit of arthritis, not an injury. He gave my mother some medicine to give to the dog to lessen the discomfort.Tonight, my father and I watched my mother as she put some of the medicine (it’s a liquid) in the dog’s food. It was the only way to give it to him. He’s wary of any other method. I asked her if he can tell.
She responded, “I don’t see why not. You haven’t.” I must’ve had a bewildered look on my face. She laughed and said that she was just kidding. “It was worth the look on your face,” she said.
I believe her. But if you see me and my hair looks unusually shiny, then you’ll know why.
