My brother, John, died today. He was just three months short of his 52nd birthday.Last night, his blood pressure started dropping. The nurses at the long-term care facility gave him medication to raise it, but it continued to drop. They called 9-1-1. Paramedics stabilized him and moved him to the ER at Long Beach Community Hospital. A few hours later, his heart stopped beating and they were unable to resuscitate him.
