Today, Calvin reviewed with me some of the exercises. The one thing I remember about the session is that we went up some steps, with my right hand on the handrail and the left hand at my side, holding the center of the walking sticks so that the sticks were parallel with the ground. He was holding onto my gait belt, just in case. It was an interesting feeling to climb the steps without needing support on my left side. I was actually putting all of my weight onto my feet and taking each step by shifting my weight and lifting the unweighted foot.
It’s happening but very slowly.
