I was watching a DVD from the second season of “Stargate: Atlantis” and listening to a commentary on one of the episodes. The director was commenting on a scene showing a confrontation. On one side was one of the series’ regulars, flanked by three armed marines. On the other side was the leader of a planet and behind him were three security officers.
The director said, “The prop department goofed. They issued holsters to the security officers but forgot to put guns in the holsters.”
Fortunately, the situation was able to be resolved. Otherwise, the security officers would have had to threaten to throw their leather holsters. That would have left a mark.
