Pastor Ken continued his “What The World Desperately Needs” series with this weekend’s episode of “Live The Life”. He talked about how many of us wear our Christianity, but sometimes we don’t always practice it. The unfortunate occurrence is when we do something “un-Christian” while wearing something that identifies us as a Christian. If a non-Christian sees us, then we are passing along a message that is wrong or confusing.
As he was closing, Ken talked about Joey, our worship leader. Joey has been undergoing chemotherapy to treat cancer. This past week, Joey received some good news. The cancer has disappeared. But Joey’s white blood cell count is zero, so he has no immunities. He’s not out of the woods yet. But he’s headed in the right direction.
A word about my blog .....
I'm using this blog to keep notes on my life and experiences, plus to keep track of my own recovery from a stroke (December 2006).
For those of you who were not aware, my brother, John, died on February 10, 2010. His remains were cremated and interred at Green Hills Memorial Park.
COMMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED, WELCOMED AND APPRECIATED.
