A word about my blog .....

I'm using this blog to keep notes on my life and experiences, plus to keep track of my own recovery from a stroke (December 2006).

For those of you who were not aware, my brother, John, died on February 10, 2010. His remains were cremated and interred at Green Hills Memorial Park.

0622 year one

John M came by and we went out to see a movie. I was talking about getting a bite at the Red Robin at the Cerritos Mall. He indicated that he was quite familiar with it because it was one of the places that he and Akiko (his wife) met while they were dating. You see, Akiko lived in Los Angeles, John lived in Orange County, and Cerritos was kinda halfway.

After consuming a Royal Burger (you know, the one with the fried egg) and Bottomless Fries, we headed to the UA Galaxy Theatre in the mall.

We were hoping to catch either “Angels & Demons” or “Up”, but we were too late. We missed both movies, so we saw “Year One” with Jack Black and Michael Cera. It was very entertaining, but I know a few people who would be offended by it.
