My sister asked me if I wanted to try some Lavender Lemonade, so I said that I would. After all, the “lavender” could be the color and not the taste. Fat chance. A cup was passed to me and I looked inside. It was yellow. So I tasted it. Imagine drinking lavender tea with LOTSA lemons added to it. It was okay, but the Lavender taste was a bit strong. Seeing that I finished the drink, my sister asked if I was ready to try the Hummingbird Cake.
I was afraid to ask.
