I went in for therapy today. Rebecca was early so we started off with some standing and balance exercises. Plus, some leg lifts without the aid of the walker.
A YEAR AGO TODAY: I will be discharged from the hospital this week. My family received training on assisting me with transfers to and from the wheelchair to the car, the toilet, and the bath chair. Wendi came by for a visit and was meeting Sheri and Liz, but she was early so we were able to chat for a bit. She found Roger, an OT on the Memorial staff, that she went to school with. Liz wrote down a mysterious message in the margin of the journal. It reads “pheromones vs. body odor”. More on this later.
