I've finally arrived! No, I'm not that old, but I requested and received some used tennis balls from my friend, Leslie, the unofficial queen of tennis. I put them on the legs of my walker (see pic) and it now moves a lot smoother than before. It also helps me to blend in with the other white-haired slow-moving walkers out there. Next stop: Denny's. I hope that the walker and the white hair will be enough to get the senior deal without having to show my ID. Note: I made the mistake of bouncing one of the balls and Jett grabbed it and won't give it back.
A word about my blog .....
I'm using this blog to keep notes on my life and experiences, plus to keep track of my own recovery from a stroke (December 2006).
For those of you who were not aware, my brother, John, died on February 10, 2010. His remains were cremated and interred at Green Hills Memorial Park.
